Code Blue

Code Blue - Richard L. Mabry If you liked watching House M.D., ER or Grey's Anatomy, read this book - highly recommended. This book has two main genres; thriller and Christian fiction.

Dr. Cathy's back to her hometown because she wanted to start a new life, to forget her pasts and to mend her broken heart from past failed relationships. She blames the Almighty for taking away her parents from her and she refuses to believe anymore. She has tried her best to enhance and advance her practicing in medicine only which it wasn't that easy to have the privileges because the staffs in the hospital have doubts on her. She has financial problems and with the rumors around her didn't make things any better. Besides, her past experiences with men has making her afraid to get engaged to a new love life. The worst, there's someone holding grudges on her and to her parents.

I liked Dr. Cathy, she's really a good doctor, she cares about her patients and I loved her passion in medicine. I disliked Dr. Marcus Bell because like Dr. Cathy said, he's a self-centered person. He only thinks about himself and didn't think about others. He underestimated on other's capabilities and simple judge on others. I liked Will Kennedy, he still loves Cathy and will always love her even though they left for college. I salute him for being patient, for willing to wait for Cathy until she's ready.

I really wish this book focused highly on thriller because wouldn't it amazing if you couldn't stop flipping pages? The suspense part happened so short that I actually wanted more. Truth to tell, the beginning wasn't that intriguing I was nearly giving up on this book but I managed in the end because in the middle of the story, things got interesting. The romance is decent here. This is a perfectly clean book for mind. No sex, trust me. The faith in God, it's understandable why Cathy being hopeless and everything but just believe. That's what matters most.

I couldn't wait to grab on Medical Error!
