4 starsLike Gravity is a love story between Finn and Brooklyn, well, for most of it. It was a wonderful story and I liked the main characters. Secondary characters are likable too especially Lexi, how I wish to have a friend like her. Tyler, there's no inkling about him I know of except he's friend with Finn.
Finn and Brooklyn both are tortured souls but since this book's only from Brooklyn's point-of-view, I got only to experience her damaged life but I don't know much about Finn's. Hence, the missing puzzle in this book would be Finn's past and honestly, I've got tons of questions about him.
Their romance progressed slowly, that I loved. I enjoyed their conversations, their banters and they're so cute and sweet together which is enough to get bubbled up with happiness, laughter and joy. No major roller coaster angsty crap in this book but that still didn't stop me from not liking this one particular scene, however short as it was.
Accompany with the love story is a little bit of suspense. The outcome was predictable and it ended abruptly, something's missing - definitely not what I was expecting. IMO, this book could turn out fine without the element of suspense. Still, I'm not complaining. I rather it be suspense and mystery than love triangle and cheating.
Overall,
Like Gravity is a good debut and I love the writing style. Go for it if you love sweet, cute romance between couple with dark past with a little bit of action. Recommended.
